Easy AND Inexpensive Do-It-Yourself Playdough Sensory Kits

For months I have been drooling over the gorgeous, themed, playdough sensory kits taking over my social media feeds. You know, the ones with all-natural playdough, countless accessories and tools, and are available in adorable themes – dinosaurs, pets, fairies, and ocean. I’ve clicked on their ads, scrolled through their products, and have gone as far as to put items in my shopping cart only to be overwhelmed by sticker shock and the fact that one of these smaller kits sells for $15 and larger ones for up to $45!?!

So, for months I’ve been telling myself,

“I could make that! I could do that! Those are all items I could easily find at the craft store or dollar store.”

Without further ado, here are our first set of sensory kits and where we got our supplies!
